Dr. Monissa Solberg is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist. Her primary task consists of providing adolescents and adults with the medication management they need to properly treat their condition, whether it is depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety or any of a number of other disorders, including schizophrenia and obsessive compulsive disorder. Dr. Solberg is a specialist in neuropsychiatric conditions, who is capable of citing many areas of expertise, including the fields of adolescent mental health and community mental health. In addition to medication management, she also does forensic psychiatric evaluations and provides expert witness testimony where necessary.

She has thus far worked with patients of all backgrounds, and she has helped them to achieve their treatment goals. Throughout many years, Dr. Solberg has done extensive research in a great many medical and psychiatric fields and her research has included subjects such as maternal depression, mental illness in underserved populations and the effects of solitary confinement on mentally ill incarcerated individuals. She has written many papers and has presented her research at large number of both regional and national psychiatric meetings.
It is certain that Dr. Monissa Solberg has more than enough education and training to provide her with a strong background for patients to rely on. Her education started with medical school, which she followed up with residency training in Adult Psychiatry at The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She also once served as that school's chief resident of education. After getting academic training at UCLA, Dr. Monissa Solberg also gained extensive clinical training in a wide variety of settings, including extensive work with underserved populations at Los Angeles County hospitals. She also worked with veterans at the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center.
